Young Families Ministry

At Heritage we recognize the unique challenges young families are facing. Balancing an active family lifestyle with providing spiritual enrichment can be daunting for any family.

We want to help each other keep that spiritual focus so needed in today’s busy family. It is the difference in our families merely surviving life or thriving in it. Without spirituality the family lives dangerously close to the pitfalls that destroy too many families in our communities.

We are connected to each other through our common goal of living in the Father’s grace, by the many activities shared together to strengthen our friendships, by sharing our accomplishments and struggles, and lifting our families into the Father’s presence in prayer. We have needs specific studies to equip us to take on the challenges unique to the young family. Challenges like keeping love growing in our marriages through the many demands of raising children and time consuming jobs, financial responsibility and stewardship in a very expensive community, passing our values to our children while taking advantage of so many opportunities afforded them today. These are only a few of the battles the family engages in each day.

Our goal is to be that extra ingredient of support when the family is stretched thin, to be present in each other’s struggles, to enrich families with spirituality like rain to the parched ground.

We welcome you to be a part of our group of young families. Some of us aren’t so young anymore but because of the age of our children we enjoy the blessings of being a part of the group. This could be the missing link between your family’s busy lifestyle and its successful navigation of today’s challenges.
